🌙 Deep Rest Herbal Sleep Tea
With Valerian Root + Passionflower Serves 1 | Best taken 30–60 minutes before bed
🌿 Ingredients:
1 tsp dried valerian root (Valeriana officinalis)
1 tsp dried passionflower (Passiflora incarnata)
1 tsp dried chamomile (optional, to enhance relaxation)
8 oz hot water (just below boiling)
Raw honey or stevia, optional for taste
Lemon balm or lavender, optional for flavor/aroma
🍵 Instructions:
Place all herbs into a tea infuser, tea bag, or directly in a mug or teapot.
Pour hot water over the herbs and cover to steep for 10–15 minutes.
Strain and sweeten if desired. Sip slowly, ideally in a dim, calming environment.
Create a ritual by turning off screens and practicing a short breathwork or journaling routine as you drink.
🌿 Alternative Tincture Method (for ease of use):
Valerian tincture - 30–60 drops
Passionflower tincture - 30–60 drops
Add to 1–2 oz of warm water and drink 30 minutes before bedtime.
🌙 Tips for Best Results:
Use nightly for 1–2 weeks to establish routine sleep support.
Combine with other calming habits: magnesium, blue light reduction, gentle stretching, or a warm bath.
